Invest Salone I designed and mobilised a £30m programme to increase exports and investments in Sierra Leone's non-extractive sectors including agribusiness, tourism, fisheries and light manufacturing. Rural Electrification in Sierra Leone I led an ambitious programme to install 100 solar mini-grids in towns and villages across Sierra Leone, and negotiate a Public-Private Partnership to ensure their long-term operation. Building Roads in Eastern DRC I turned around a struggling road rehabilitation programme in the conflict-affected regions of Eastern DRC, successfully constructing dozens of durable structures while providing employment for 2,000 people. Market Systems Development in DRC I managed a £50m market systems development programme, which has helped increase the incomes of 400,000 people working in DRC's agriculture, renewable energy, business services, and river transport sectors.
